Stop Powdery Mildew & Bud Rot — Residue-Free UV-C
Stop Powdery Mildew & Bud Rot — Without Spraying a Single Chemical
CleanLight uses proven UV-C light to knock back powdery mildew and botrytis (bud rot) at the source — no sprays, no residue on your buds, no re-entry intervals. Built for serious growers protecting their harvest.

Powdery mildew and bud rot don’t announce themselves. By the time you see white fuzz on a leaf or the first rotting core inside a dense cola, spores are already moving through your canopy and your air. Sprays force a trade-off you don’t want late in flower: chemical residue on the product you’re about to sell, plus days of re-entry downtime.
UV-C is a different approach. The same germicidal light used to disinfect hospitals and water damages the DNA of fungal spores so they can’t spread — applied directly to your canopy with a handheld pass, or continuously to your room’s air.
Why growers choose CleanLight
- Zero residue. Nothing sprayed, nothing left on the flower — clean for testing and for the end buyer.
- Use it through flower. No re-entry interval and no chemical schedule to juggle.
- Targets the real source. Hits spores on the canopy and in the air, not just visible symptoms.
- Prevention, not just rescue. A regular pass keeps disease pressure down before it costs you a harvest.
- No resistance build-up. Fungi can’t adapt to UV-C the way they do to fungicides.
- Proven technology. CleanLight UV-C systems are used across professional horticulture.
Proven on cannabis — in independent university research
This isn’t marketing. Independent researchers at Simon Fraser University tested CleanLight UV-C on powdery-mildew-infected cannabis and published their results in the peer-reviewed Canadian Journal of Plant Pathology (2021).
Relative powdery-mildew severity in the peer-reviewed trial — 45% lower with daily UV-C.
- 45% less powdery mildew with daily UV-C — a statistically significant reduction (p<0.05) versus untreated plants.
- Under the microscope, treated leaves showed no mildew growth — spores failed to germinate.
- A few seconds per plant, per day kept disease pressure down across the trial — it works best as prevention.
That 45% comes from a deliberately tough test: plants were kept under constant mildew pressure and treatment only started after infection had already set in. Even in that worst case, daily UV-C cut mildew nearly in half. Used preventatively — the way most growers run it — SFU’s trials kept mildew almost flat while untreated plants became heavily diseased.

Questions growers ask
Will UV-C damage my plants?
Used as directed — short, regular passes at the right distance — UV-C targets surface spores without harming healthy plant tissue. Each unit ships with usage guidance.
Can I use it during flower?
Yes. There’s no spray and no residue, so there’s no re-entry interval or wash-off concern late in flower.
Does it replace my whole IPM program?
It’s a powerful, residue-free layer for fungal disease pressure. Most growers use it to reduce or replace fungicide sprays while keeping good airflow and sanitation habits.
Is it the right voltage for the US?
Yes — choose the 120V (US) variant at checkout.
Protect this harvest — and the next one
One lost room costs far more than a CleanLight. Used preventatively it keeps disease pressure down all cycle — and can pay for itself the first time it saves a harvest.
Don’t wait for the first white spot or the first rotten cola. Put residue-free UV-C to work in your room today.
