Before you buy: is the Hobby enough for your grow?
The Hobby is our 11 W entry model for a single small tent (up to about 2×2 ft / 60×60 cm, a handful of plants). It has one third of the output of the CleanLight Pro, so every plant takes roughly three times as long to treat. For any grow room, any tent from 3×3 ft, several tents or plants in full flower, choose the CleanLight Pro (36 W). Most growers who start with a Hobby upgrade to the Pro within a season.

Every grower knows the feeling: you spot the first white dusting on a leaf and your stomach drops. Powdery mildew and botrytis can take hold fast, and by the time it's visible, spores are already spreading. Reaching for a chemical spray means residue on your product, stress on your plants, and pathogens that build resistance over time.
The CleanLight Hobby gives home growers and small-tent cultivators a clean, chemical-free alternative. A handheld 11-watt UV-C lamp in a parabolic reflector — designed to be swept slowly through your canopy, destroying mildew spores and botrytis directly on the plant surface without harming the plant itself.
How it works
UV-C light at 254nm ruptures the DNA of fungi, bacteria, and viruses on contact, stopping them from reproducing. The Hobby's parabolic reflector is specifically shaped to diffuse UV light deep into dense foliage, reaching between leaves and stems where spores hide. The reflector also shields you from direct UV exposure during use — safety glasses and gloves are included in the box.
Use it as a daily preventative — regular sweeps keep spore counts low before symptoms appear — or as an early-stage curative treatment when you spot the first signs of mildew or bud rot.

Is the Hobby right for your grow?

How do I use it?
Let it warm up for about one minute, then sweep the light over your canopy once a day. Wear the included safety glasses during treatment.
When do I replace the bulb?
