The CleanLight Air runs continuously — which means its UV-C lamp is working around the clock to destroy airborne mildew spores, botrytis, bacteria, and viruses before they reach your plants or your product. Like all UV-C lamps, output degrades over time. A lamp past its service life may still glow, but it's no longer delivering the germicidal dose your grow room depends on.
This is the official replacement UV lamp for the CleanLight Air (PL-L 60W). Replacing it on schedule keeps your air disinfection running at the efficacy level your operation requires.
When to replace
Replace your CleanLight Air lamp when either of the following is reached — whichever comes first:
- 9,000 hours of cumulative use — approximately 12 months running 24/7, or longer with scheduled operation
- Every 2 years, regardless of hours logged
For a unit running continuously in a commercial grow room, budget for annual lamp replacement. For intermittent or scheduled use, the 2-year calendar rule applies.
